Next, is What??

We are in the world of evolving technology, every day a new discovery or invention happens, so how is it going to affect us ?. Firstly there should be no panic or confusion. World is full of unexpected events.

AI is the term that everyone is interested in and wants to seek the benefits for a better customer experience and increase in revenue by implementing it. There are many aspects of AI that we are using in the real world, some are listed below

• Sentiment Analysis
• Real-Time Translation
• Real-Time Text to speech
• Image Classification

These are some real-life examples that everyone can relate to, next would be enhancing this to other areas for implementation. Let us consider the software Development field for this example. Future would mean customers being more aggressive in providing top quality services quicker with some added values, how can you provide that ??

Software development consists of a phase that deals with designing the product and then implementing it. If we have a technology that will provide a high-level design of the product by taking in some parameters (viz.. The language used, type of application, load expected by the application, criticality of the application, budget, etc..). This would help in speeding up the design phase which would become directly proportional to the release of the product.

Cloud technologies in the current world are giving us a similar flavor, they are providing us with enablers and best practices that serve as a backbone for quick and seamless development of application without compromise on cost and customer satisfaction, Above a discussed example of Software Design Automation is one step further to this.

In the current world, every application has an API exposed, technology advancements can aid customers in the faster development of an API. APIGEE is one good example of that, taking one step further, advancements can help in giving suggestions on what different security must implement security checks, based on some inputs that deals with (Type of application, revenue % of the company through the application, criticality, user base, etc..)

These might sound a bit over the top and hypothetical at this moment, remember every technology advancement started with a hypothesis.

Even in the Testing and QA Arena where Automation is gaining pace, AI can help nurture that in the right direction for faster results. At this moment there is are a large number of tools that leverage AI technology for ensuring less flaky and quick tests, Future can be an Open source AI Library that leverages AI and Selenium to produce AI Automated tests.

All discussed here are just thoughts that run through my mind when I ask a question to myself “NEXT, IS WHAT?”.
